Chinese Never Die: 宴

⌈Chinese Never Die: 宴⌋ 是一个即将在米兰 spazioSERRA 开幕的实验性、社会参与式行为演出与声音装置项目。项目回应意大利社会中“华人永不死”的刻板印象——这一观念将华人群体简化为隐形的劳动力。通过艺术实践，我们希望开启一场关于可见性、在场与社区的公共对话。

这是一个开放的合作实验室，人人皆可参与，无需任何经验。我们欢迎所有年龄、语言、能力与背景的参与者加入。此次公开召集面向米兰唐人街的居民、华人侨民，以及所有对这一议题感兴趣的人。

工作坊结束后，这段集体探索将继续延伸。志愿者可以通过表演、声音实践、场景搭建，或作为空间中的在场者，共同在 spazioSERRA 的展览中呈现这场集体创作。

⌈Chinese Never Die: 宴⌋ is an upcoming experimental and socially engaged performance and sound installation at spazioSERRA in Milan.
The project challenges the Italian stereotype that “Chinese never die” — a notion that reduces the Chinese community to invisible labor.
Through artistic practice, it seeks to open a public dialogue on visibility, presence, and community.

This is an open and collaborative laboratory that welcomes everyone — no prior experience is required.
People of all ages, languages, abilities, and backgrounds are invited to join.
The public call is open to residents of Milan’s Chinatown, members of the Chinese diaspora, and anyone interested in these themes.

After the workshop, this collective exploration will continue to evolve. Volunteers may participate through performance, movement, sound, scenography, or simply by being present, taking part in the collective creation presented at spazioSERRA.
